Guys, I can't believe this. Just won a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE on TwoTraderAuctions for $17,500! It's a bank repo from Chase, 28k miles, no accidents on Carfax. I've been watching this listing for 3 days and sniped it in the last 4 minutes of the auction.

The bidding was stuck at $15,800 for a whole day, then 2 other guys jumped in near the end. I set my max at $18,000 and it auto-bid up to $17,500. Paid wire transfer same day, title arrived in 9 business days. Truck is immaculate โ€” previous owner clearly took care of it before the bank took it back.

For reference, same truck at a dealership is going for $31,000+. I saved nearly $14k. TwoTraderAuctions is the real deal, don't sleep on it!

That's exactly how you do it! The auto-bid system on TwoTraderAuctions is solid โ€” I've used it on 11 auctions now and it never glitched on me. Smart move setting your ceiling $500 above where you'd actually feel comfortable, gives you that buffer.

$17,500 for a '23 Sierra with 28k miles is INSANE. Did you do a pre-purchase inspection or just trusted Carfax? Asking because I have a similar listing in my watchlist right now, a 2022 Sierra AT4.

Congrats man!! I lost a 2022 Silverado on TwoTraderAuctions last week by $200 bucks โ€” still hurts lol. Was that the one listed out of Dallas repo center? I remember seeing a white Sierra with Chase Financial paperwork in the photos.

Question for the thread โ€” does TwoTraderAuctions charge a buyer's premium on top of the winning bid? I'm new and trying to calculate my all-in cost before I get too excited on listings.

Yes, there's a buyer's fee โ€” check the listing details, it's shown clearly before you bid. On mine it was $450 flat fee. So my total out of pocket was $17,950 + transport ($320 via uShip). Still way under market.

I ordered a mobile inspection through the TwoTraderAuctions partner inspector for $85. Guy came out to the repo lot, sent me 47 photos and a written report in 24 hours. Small oil leak on the valve cover gasket, nothing major. Totally worth it!

Long post incoming, sorry! I've been lurking here for months and finally pulled the trigger on TwoTraderAuctions. Here's my honest experience as a complete newbie.

Bid #1 โ€” 2021 Winnebago Minnie Winnie. Lost at $34,200. Was sad but the winner paid fair market so no regrets.
Bid #2 โ€” 2020 Forest River Sunseeker. Lost again at $28,500. Starting to learn the patterns here.
Bid #3 โ€” 2022 Coachmen Freelander. WON at $31,800!! That's $19k under what dealers want!

Registration on TwoTraderAuctions was easy, verified my identity same day. The listing photos were detailed, 60+ images per unit. My only complaint is that the search filters could use a bit more refinement โ€” I'd love to filter by mileage on RVs. Overall 9/10, would absolutely recommend.

100% agree on the filters! I've been saying this for 2 years. For RVs specifically, filtering by slide-outs, generator hours, and roof type would be a game changer. Someone should post this as a feature request.

But congrats on the Coachmen! I own a 2021 Freelander myself โ€” bought it new. What floorplan did you get? The 22XG is the one to have. Those units hold up really well if the previous owner didn't abuse the slideout motor.

Welcome to the club Cindy! Losing the first couple is part of the learning curve on TwoTraderAuctions โ€” you figure out the bidding rhythm fast. Pro tip: never bid in round numbers. Instead of $28,000, bid $28,150. You'd be surprised how many auctions are decided by $50-100.

Also check the auction end time โ€” repos ending on weekday mornings get fewer bids than weekend evenings. I've won 3 RVs on Tuesday mornings for that exact reason ๐Ÿ˜„

This is GOLD advice Mike, thank you! Wish I'd known this on bid #1 โ€” I lost the Winnebago and my last bid was exactly $34,000 even. The winner paid $34,200. That's probably why I lost!! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

I got the 22XG actually! The one with the rear queen bed and the jack-knife sofa. It had 41k miles, slideout worked perfectly during inspection. Roof was inspected too โ€” no delamination. I'm thrilled!

Hi, just won my first auction on TwoTraderAuctions (2021 Ford Escape, $11,200 ๐ŸŽ‰) and I'm a little nervous about wiring money. Does the wire go to TwoTraderAuctions directly or to the bank that holds the repo? Also, is there any buyer protection if something goes wrong?

Great question! The wire goes directly to TwoTraderAuctions โ€” we act as the secure escrow between you and the financial institution. We only release funds and initiate title transfer once everything is verified on both ends. Congrats on the Escape, that's a great first win! ๐ŸŽŠ

Your buyer protection covers title guarantee โ€” if a clean title cannot be delivered within 30 days, you receive a full refund. This has happened fewer than 0.3% of transactions in our history.

To add to what Support said โ€” I've done 11 wire transfers through TwoTraderAuctions and never had a single issue. My bank (Chase) sometimes puts a 24hr hold on outgoing wires over $10k so heads up if yours does too. Just call your bank proactively before sending so you don't miss the 48hr window.

Congrats NewBidder_2025, the Escape is a solid repo choice โ€” simple mechanicals, cheap parts, very reliable. You're going to love it!

I've used all three platforms extensively over the past 2 years. Here's my honest breakdown:

Copart: Huge inventory but mostly salvage/damaged titles. Not ideal if you want clean title repos. Need a dealer license in most states to buy directly.
IAAI: Similar to Copart โ€” great for parts cars or body shop buyers. Again, mostly insurance write-offs.
TwoTraderAuctions: This is the one for bank repo, clean title vehicles. Smaller inventory than Copart but every listing I've seen has had a lien-free, clean title. No dealer license needed. Open to public buyers.

For the average person wanting to buy a quality used car or RV at below-market price, TwoTraderAuctions wins hands down. Copart is for flippers and dealers who know how to rebuild salvage titles.

This matches my experience exactly. I made the mistake of buying from IAAI once โ€” spent 3 months and $4,200 fixing a flooded Honda that was listed as "minor water damage." Never again. TwoTraderAuctions' listings are transparent โ€” they show actual repo documentation from the bank, service history when available, and the inspection report right in the listing. That's huge.

I'll throw in a different perspective โ€” I actually use both Copart AND TwoTraderAuctions strategically. Copart for $500-2k damaged cars I fix and flip, TwoTraderAuctions for $8k-20k clean repos I sell retail. Two totally different business models.

But if you're a regular person wanting ONE great vehicle for personal use, TwoTraderAuctions every time. No question. You don't need a broker, you don't need a license, and you're not gambling on a flooded car.

Alright guys, 2025 is almost done and I wanted to share my TwoTraderAuctions numbers for the year. All 4 were bank repos, all clean titles:

๐Ÿš— 2021 Toyota RAV4 โ€” Won: $19,200 | Spent on detail/minor fixes: $380 | Sold: $27,500 | Profit: $7,920
๐Ÿš— 2022 Honda CR-V โ€” Won: $17,800 | Fixes: $220 | Sold: $25,000 | Profit: $7,000 (approx)
๐Ÿš— 2020 Ford Explorer โ€” Won: $16,400 | New tires + detail: $900 | Sold: $26,800 | Profit: $9,500
๐Ÿš— 2023 Chevy Equinox โ€” Won: $18,100 | Fixes: $150 | Sold: $31,900 | Profit: $13,650

Total profit after buyer fees and transport: ~$38,000. Part time. From home. Thank you TwoTraderAuctions ๐Ÿ™

Incredible Jake. That Equinox flip is insane โ€” $13k on a $18k buy-in is a 75% ROI. What was the condition on the Explorer? I remember you posting about it when you won, said something about a cracked rear bumper?

I've been doing smaller flips myself โ€” 2-3 cars a year on TwoTraderAuctions โ€” but your numbers are making me want to scale up. Do you hire a transport company or drive them yourself?

Yeah the Explorer had the cracked rear bumper cover โ€” $220 at a junkyard for a replacement, painted it myself in a weekend. Good as new. Total fix cost was $900 including new tires (it needed them for resale). For transport I use uShip โ€” always get 3 quotes, usually lands around $300-450 per car depending on distance.

Dan if you want to scale, just focus on the 2020-2023 Japanese SUVs on TwoTraderAuctions. RAV4, CR-V, Rogue โ€” they sell FAST retail. Always at least $6k spread between repo price and private sale value.

Jake this thread should be stickied honestly. I've been hesitant to try flipping but this breakdown makes it look very doable even for someone without a mechanic background. The fact that TwoTraderAuctions repos are already clean title and decent condition removes so much of the risk compared to salvage auctions.

Quick question โ€” do you pay cash for all of them or do you finance any?

I see this question asked constantly by new members so let me give a definitive answer after 2 years and 9 completed purchases on TwoTraderAuctions.

Is it legit? YES, 100%. Here's what I've bought: 3 cars, 2 pickup trucks, 1 Class C motorhome, 1 travel trailer, 1 jet ski, 1 skid steer. Every single title came through clean. Average time from wire to title in hand: 11 business days. Longest wait: 18 days (holiday period). Never had a title problem, never had a vehicle misrepresented.

The one thing to know: TwoTraderAuctions is as-is. What you see in the listing is what you get. Order an inspection if you're unsure โ€” it's $75-100 and absolutely worth it on anything over $10k.

Marcus this is exactly the post this forum needed, thank you. I want to add from a finance perspective โ€” I've helped 3 friends get pre-approved auto loans specifically for TwoTraderAuctions purchases. LightStream and PenFed Credit Union both work great for repo auction buys. They fund directly to you (not the auction) which fits perfectly with TwoTraderAuctions' wire transfer process.

Pro tip: get pre-approved BEFORE you bid so you know your ceiling. Don't bid and THEN scramble for financing!

Bookmarking this thread to share with everyone who asks me "is TwoTraderAuctions a scam." The short answer is no โ€” the slightly longer answer is: it's a legitimate bank liquidation platform, repos come directly from financial institutions (Wells Fargo, Chase, Credit Unions, etc.), and TwoTraderAuctions is the middleman that handles the auction, payment escrow, and title transfer.

The only "risk" is buying a vehicle as-is without knowing its full mechanical history โ€” which is true of any used vehicle purchase anywhere. Order an inspection. Problem solved.
